The AIRCARE® Companion CM300D Tabletop Evaporative Humidifier is one of the newest AIRCARE® units. The compact humidifier has a modern design with digital controls. Monitoring and controlling the the humidity in your home can help you in many ways. The moist air will help your skin and sinuses, and even helps prevent those uncomfortable static shocks.
Companion CM300D tabletop humidifier adds invisible moisture to your home to satisfy home humidity requirements through the principle of evaporation of water in the air. The tabletop unit has a wick inside, once the wick becomes saturated, air is drawn in through the top of the unit and passes through the wick. Clean moisture is released through the top of the humidifier and absorbed into the air. All evaporation occurs in the humidifier so any residue remains in the wick.This natural process of evaporation creates no white dust like some other evaporative humidifiers.
The tabletop AIRCARE CM330D has a digital humidifier control panel with three buttons. Press the power button to turn it on. Press the fan button to adjust the fan speed and indicator lights above will illuminate to indicate high, medium and low speed. The adjustable humidistat button is used to increase the humidity level. The indicator lights above will indicate low, medium or high humidity selection.
The tabletop unit is efficient in both size and moisture output. The CM330D produces approximately 2.8 gallons moisture daily. Easy to fill, the Companion is a top fill humidifier with a 1.6 gallon tank and it has a water level indicator lets you know when your humidifier needs refilling.

A few things to remember:
For effective humidification, it is important to position the unit where the most humidity is needed or where the moist air will be circulated throughout the house such as near a cold air return. The humidifier should be placed at least FOUR inches away from any curtains or walls, and away from heat registers. Do not place on soft carpet. Due to release of cool, moist air from the humidifier, it is best to direct air away from thermostat and hot air registers.
As the evaporative wick traps accumulated minerals from the water, its ability to absorb and evaporate water decreases. Changing the wick at the beginning of every season is recommended. In hard water areas, more frequent replacement may be necessary to maintain your humidifierﾒs efficiency.
Personal comfort is a major factor in determining where to set your humidity level for your home. The point at which you set your humidity level should not not cause condensation on walls or windows.
