The following are examples of the personal information we gather from you.

  • Purchases - You give us your name, billing address, shipping address (if applicable), phone number, e-mail address, and payment information when you place an order with us.
  • Non-Purchases - There may be instances when you or someone else gives us your name, billing address, shipping address (if applicable), phone number, e-mail address, and payment information. This may occur when you return or exchange merchandise, receive a gift from National Allergy, send a website page to a friend or have one sent to you, request a catalog be sent to a friend or have one sent to you or enter a contest, subscribe to our e-mail newsletters, participate in a promotion, or take a survey sponsored by National Allergy. Also, an account will allow you to place online orders more conveniently. When you create an account on our website, you authorize us to store your name, billing address, shipping address (if applicable), phone number, e-mail address, a password of your choosing and a password hint. A website account is NOT required to place an online order as you may choose to checkout as a Guest.

How your personal information is used:

We ask you for certain kinds of personal information in order to provide you with the services you request and to process and deliver your order. We believe that people who have ordered from us have an interest in receiving our catalog or other literature about our products and/or services. Occasionally, we’ll use e-mail to communicate something of importance but not promotional in nature. We may also use your personal information to provide you with customized communications (written or verbal) in order to keep you updated on the latest promotions or products that may interest you. In order to ship and track merchandise, we make your name and address available to certain companies that help us provide you with those services such as FedEx, UPS, and the US Postal Service.

Our marketing material is sent directly to doctor offices for patient distribution since National Allergy is referred by thousands of physicians nationwide. If you give us referring doctor information, we use that information to help guide our marketing efforts, primarily to determine how much literature each office needs. If you choose to share the referring doctor or patient name with us (many customers want this information included on their invoice for tax purposes or when attempting to have their insurance cover the purchase), please be assured that it will never be rented, sold, given or distributed to any outside third party. Additionally, none of your individually identifiable information is shared with physicians or healthcare providers.

The information that you give us and information about your order (not including referring doctor or patient name) may be combined with other personally identifiable information (such as demographic information and past purchase history) available from our records and other sources. This information will be used to make our future marketing efforts more efficient. This information may also be shared with other marketers to bring you offers of interest from reputable companies. On occasion, we may become involved in a marketing alliance with a like-minded company where we may offer their product or service to you. If you prefer that we do not share your name and address with other marketers, please contact us at 1.800.522.1448. Please allow 4-6 weeks to process your request.

Non-personal information we may gather:

We also collect other non-personal information dealing with website traffic and activity. We track where a guest enters our site, what pages they view while with us, and how long they stay both on the site and on each page viewed. We also track which websites refer guests to our site and the effectiveness of our marketing efforts. This anonymous information helps us improve the content of our site to better serve you. In addition, our site utilizes 'cookies’ and pixel tags to gather information but this information cannot be used to identify you personally. For more information regarding our use of these online tools, please see our Site Security page. Please keep in mind that, just as if you were in a retail department store, each guest to our website remains anonymous unless they voluntarily give us information.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time and will post those changes on this page so please review it frequently.
