Essick Air Bacteriostactic Treatment for evaporative humidifiers is a bateriostat, an antibacterial additive that can be used to control the build-up of bacteria and algae in the water tanks of wick based, manually-filled cool moisture evaporative humidifiers. Please read the directions on the product label and use as directed.
Directions for use: Add 1/6 fluid ounce (approximately 1/8 capful) of Humidifier Bacteriostatic Treatment per gallon of water each time you fill the wick-based cool moisture evaporative humidifier.
