Wavelengths and nanometers are simply a way to measure the strength of the Ultraviolet light and identify its capabilities. All Ultraviolet light is measured between 200 and 400 nanometers. However, UVC light or Ultraviolet-C light only exists between 200 and 280 nanometers. This is an important fact because UVC light is responsible for killing and destroying microorganisms, including dust mites.
