  •   Ling - 3/21/10 20:50 pm I was a little worried this cover would be crinkly or noticeable, but after a few days, I think it softened and I don't notice it at all. It's not really plasticy, and it's so much cheaper than buying brand new hypoallergenic comforters and I can use my old duvet covers.

  •   Jen - 2/9/10 14:34 pm I bought 2 products, this duvet encasing and Supreme pillow encasings. I really like the pillow encasing but HATE this Duvet encasing. I found my duvet swam inside this and the material was too stiff and scratchy. Not good since I have a thinner decorative duvet cover. Also, it requires hand washing. I will be returning this item.

  •   mem - 11/29/09 22:57 pm I've used encasings for my mattress and pillows over the years and was unpleasantly surprised by how uncomfortable having my comforter encased is. It's as if I wrapped my comforter in some sort of crinkly plastic-backed paper. I've never had problems with my comforter becoming balled up inside my duvet cover before, but the inside of this is slippery and my comforter ends up sliding down it.

We just covered up her old comforter with it (after washing the comforter) and bought a couple of fun, cotton duvet covers. She likes her bedding and it won't make her sick. A win-win for all!
