The Respro® Allergy Mask helps to prevent chemicals, particles and dust from entering into your nose or mouth, this helps to ensure that you will breathe better and prevent an allergic reaction from happening. Many things that can cause allergic reactions are found in a person's normal day to day activities. Some examples of this may be paint fumes, pollen, cigarette smoke, animal dander, perfumes, fabric softeners and the list goes on and on. This filtered face mask can be worn during various activities such as cleaning your house, changing linens, gardening, exercising or even sports training. This mask was designed with a lightweight and air permeable material. The pollen allergy mask is made of polypropylene and medical grade silicon rubber diaphragms and the filters are composed of Rayon fabric which is a semi synthetic material. For Masks: It is recommended that in order to keep your mask in good conditions you should wash the inner and outer areas of the mask. Wash the mask at least once a month. Make sure that the filter and the valve are removed first. The mask should be washed in warm soapy water and then left to dry naturally.
For Valves: To ensure good hygiene and proper care we suggest that you place valves in a pan of boiling water. Once the water is boiled, remove valves from the water, let cool naturally.
What size mask do I need?
As a rule of thumb mask sizing is as follows:
a. 5’ Light Build = Small
b. 5’ Heavy Build - 5’6’ Average Build = Medium
c. 5’6” Heavy Build - 6’ Average Build = Large
d. 6’ Heavy Build - 6’+ Average Build = X-Large
Take take you head measurements for a better fit.
Measure top to bottom from Eye to Chin:Take a measuring tape or a piece of string and place it between the eyes on the top of the nose bridge, run the string over the tip of your nose and down to just under the bottom of the chin. This is the eye to chin length.
Measure the circumference of your Neck Size: Using a measuring tape or a piece string, measure the circumference around the neck. Use a ruler to determine the length of string. This is the neck circumference. Easier still check your shirt size.
Measure the circumference of your Head (AKA Hat Size): Using a measuring tape or a piece of string, measure the circumference around the head just about the eyebrow. Use a ruler to determine the length of string. This is the head or hat size circumference.
