Choosing covers for your bed should be done thoughtfully. The right bedding will provide allergy relief, but because you sleep on them every night, you also want to consider something comfortable and long-lasting. We offer several options to meet your budget needs and individual preferences. Although some of the individual traits of our covers may vary, there are several qualities that you can count on in each and every one of our products. All of our products are individually tested and are proven to block dust mite allergens. Terms found on other products, such as "hypoallergenic" or "resists dust mites," do not guarantee that you are buying a dust mite-proof product. Every cover we offer is zippered. There are fitted versions available from other retailers, but these do not protect you from mite allergens since the mattress is not totally encased. Each cover has the BugShield System backed by independent test data that proved bed bugs and their eggs could not get through our fabrics or zippers. All BedCare Bedding Covers are made in the USA by true craftsmen who pay close attention to quality. In addition, all our fabrics are lab-tested and certified. Regardless of which BedCare Bedding Cover you choose, you can be sure you are getting the highest quality materials and construction.

*Pore Size: As fibers are woven together to create a piece of fabric, the small openings where the fibers intersect are called pores. The tighter the fibers are woven together, the smaller the pore size becomes, resulting in fewer materials (including animal dander and dust mite allergens) escaping into the environment. Doctors recommend a pore size of at least 6 microns to protect against dust mites. For small dander, they recommend under 3 microns. **Care: Washing and care are important steps in reducing allergens. All bedding (pillowcases, sheets, comforters, etc.) should be washed at least every two weeks in hot water (130-140 degrees F) to eliminate mites and their allergen. Based on this schedule, allergy covers only need to be washed 2-3 times per year. ***Popularity Rating is based on gross sales of BedCare products.
