Stelactiv Skin Protectant Cream helps prevent diaper rash, helps treat moderate to severe diaper rash, and helps seal out wetness. Severe diaper rash is most frequent between the ages of 6 and 12 months and is most often caused by chafing or wetness. Diaper friction makes the very thin skin of baby even more sensitive. When diapers are soiled, humidity and softening of the skin can lead to germ growth.
