The Austin Air Allergy Machine is the only room air purifier on the market that incorporates HEGA filtration (High Efficiency Gas Absorption) so that irritating contaminants are removed from the air before they can possibly trigger your allergies or asthma.

National Allergy staff tried to obtain an air cleaner from Austin that did not emit an odor when first running. It did NOT work! We ran it for a week in another room and it is better, but be aware that if you need it immediately and you have sensitivity to odors/chemicals, you may want to order another machine. This is clearly very disappointing!

LOVE this machine. My 3 year old son has severe allergies to dust mites and pollen. He was not able to sleep. Even sleeping sitting up, he would still wheeze, cough and have very hard time breathing. (Very scary). After I had done a lot of research; I purchased the Austin Air Allergy Machine HEGA Room Air Purifier - Amazing results. I turned the machine on high and let it run all day, that night; my son was sleeping through the night (lying flat) with no problems at all. As if that was not wonderful enough, my husband, who works the night shift, found that he was able to sleep easier during the day. The sound the machine makes is soothing and drowns out the background noise. We are going to purchase another one for our downstairs. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone with allergies. (((NO OZONE)))) +++ Replace filter every 5 years +++ unlike other brands!!!!
