Replacement Filters For Austin Air Cleaners

We support all of the Austin Air air cleaners we've sold over the years with replacement filters packs which need only be changed every 5 years. Simply vacuum the unit every few months to remove large particles from the outer surface and pre-filter. Filter packs for various units are listed in the product table below.

All Filter Replacement Packs Include:

  • Permafilt Pre-Filter removes larger particulates. Pre-filters also sold separately if needed.
  • V.O.C Filter contains 15 lbs. of activated carbon and zeolite. The HealthMate Plus filter is impregnated with potassium iodide to remove more volatile organic compounds, odors, gasses and formaldehyde.
  • True HEPA Filter removes 99.97% of all particles 0.3 microns or larger.


The best way to tell it is time to replace the filter is when your machine starts to pulsate. This means that the filter is full and air is having trouble being moved through the unit. It is helpful to keep track of filter replacements for your records, as following this important maintenance schedule will help preserve the life of your air cleaner. A Final Word of Caution: No air cleaner will eliminate the health risks associated with tobacco smoke.
