•   Tiffany - 10/27/11 22:08 pm I have dust mite allergies and react to Georgia pollen. Also slightly allergic to my roommate's dog. I don't know how "effective" this detergent is, but I am able to keep my room and clothes allergen-free enough where I do not have as many or as intense skin reactions. I supplement Arm & Hammer's Sensitive Skin detergent with some of this (which is highly concentrated) and it works fine. Smells clean -- no weird or bad smell.

  As far as I can tell, there are no ingredients that I am allergic to, like fragrance, tea tree oil, etc.
  
  But it is still WAY to expensive, and shipping is not free to HI. :-(

•   tonya - 5/8/11 13:10 pm I can't explain in words how much this detergent has helped my daughter. We had tried everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) else to help her with her chronic dust mite allergy symptoms - we ripped out carpet, did away with beloved stuffed animals, encased everything on the bed, removed curtains, cleaned the ductwork - all to no avail. I bought this and noticed a difference after the first wash day. I have been using it for about a year now, and she has remained totally symptom free! It also gets our clothes really clean and seems to have good fabric care qualities. My machine actually works better if I use a bit less than the label calls for, so the product lasts an extra-long time. So thankful for this detergent!!!! One thing ... we currently use it in a regular top-loader, but are shopping for a top-load HE machine. The bottle does not list directions for use with HE machines, though this website says it can be used in HE washers. Hope they add HE directions to the label.

The best is the clothes smelled so clean and fresh. I bought two more bottles today because I liked it so much. It cut down on the sneezing and wheezing to!

We started using this product about 5 months ago and the rashes and skin irritation are almost completely gone. Something we haven't seen in years. One other thing that we have noticed is that our clothes and linens are soft ... something we aren't use to since we haven't been able to use fabric softeners for many years. Our laundry is super clean and very fresh smelling. We can't believe the difference.

At one point I ran out and used another detergent on the market. That is when his excessive biting and licking started up again. I will not run out of this product again!

I was using this detergent with great success until I was laid off and tried to find something a little less expensive. Within 3 weeks of using the replacement product I started having skin reactions and returned to this detergent. I will not use anything else again.

And it does this in cold water using a small amount of detergent ~ so, very long lasting. I would highly recommend it. We've always been frustrated in our ability to be "dander-free" when we spend time with her. It seemed that no matter how much care we took in cleaning our clothing, she would still have an allergic reaction during our visit! Luckily, I discovered Anti-Allergen Laundry Detergent. That, combined with the use of AllerSafe Anti-Allergen spray, has made our lives easier, and my mother-in-law's allergy attacks during our presence have stopped. The laundry detergent works wonderfully - our clothes are clean, without any harsh smells. I've become a true believer in this product and use it religiously.

My son is highly allergic to mold and mildly allergic to dust mites, etc. I first looked into using this product when we had a mold growth problem in our front loading machines (get rid of those if you have them and are allergic to mold!!!). This detergent removes any mildew or mold smells from clothes and gets them as clean as any other commercially available product.
