In addition to the filtration provided by the HealthPro and HealthPro Compact models, the IQAir HealthPro Plus Air Purifier contains a V5-Cell gas phase filter for the control of a wide range of gaseous contaminants and odors. The IQAir HealthPro Plus is especially recommended for asthma sufferers, since their respiratory systems are often sensitive to gaseous irritants as well as allergens. In fact, while other air cleaners are rated for particles down to 0.3 microns, IQAir systems have been found to remove particles down to 0.01 microns with close to 99% efficiency.
