We continue to support all of the Vornado air cleaners we've sold over the years with replacement pre-filters and main HEPA filters. These Vornado filters are listed in the product table below.

It is helpful to keep track of Vornado filter replacements for your records as following this important maintenance schedule will help preserve the life of your air cleaner.

A Word of Caution: No air cleaner will eliminate the health risks associated with tobacco smoke.

Vornado Filter Product Notes:

• Our hassle-free Activated Charcoal Pre-Filters are ready-to-use with no measuring or cutting required. Each pre-filter will last for about 3 months depending upon the environment and are sold in a 2-Pack for a 6 month supply. One way to tell it is time to replace Vornado filters is by the color. They are almost black to begin with and turn a light gray color when they need to be changed.
• The Main HEPA Filter will last for 1 to 3 years depending upon the environment. The best way to tell it is time to replace the Vornado filter is when your machine starts to pulsate. This means that the filter is full and air is having trouble being moved through the unit.

In all cases above, the time frames listed are estimates and depend largely upon the environment.

•   Stephen - 4/23/10 8:49 am There are a lot of air purifiers on the market and I can attest to owning mine for almost 15 years and it runs constantly like it did the first day. I was afraid that they might stop making filters for it over the years but National Allergy continues to carry them. I highly recommend this product.

Thanks for still providing these filters on line - I have 4 Vornados in my home and an indoor cat - so filters get changed more frequently than usual.
