Instructions

Once your vinyl mattress cover is out of the package, the initial vinyl smell will dissipate.

If the odor is particularly strong to you, we suggest airing the zippered vinly mattress cover for 1-2 days in open air or sunshine prior to use.

Debra - 5/19/12 7:59 am I purchased the vinyl cover for my daughter's twin box spring and the corners have torn and split at the seam. I would NOT recommend this product. Buy the BedCare Economy Zippered Mattress Cover to encase your box spring instead. You will save money in the long run.

My new purchase of 6 twin covers were for hospital bed mattresses in Haiti. After looking all day in our shopping area to find anything similar, I realized that there was nothing that matched the quality of these!

They have a wonderful warranty on them if they happen to get a hole etc. They have protected my mattress and boxsprings for many years now. I found out about this company through a doctor and I am so glad that I did, they have some very wonderful products to use around the home. Thank you.

Jenny - 3/19/11 17:03 pm We purchased a pair of the long twin covers to go on the box springs under our king mattress 8 years ago. After seven years of use, our daughter tore a small hole in one but we kept them both on and that decision later saved our mattress set from the plague of mold that visited our home a year later.
We left for a week and when we returned, we found that the record amount of rains had turned our house into mold central. The inspector found several different types of mold, including toxic chaetomium. We threw out affected toys, blankets, books, rugs, clothes, etc. I thought the mattress and box springs would have to go too, but when we unzipped the covers, they still smelled fresh and new! So now i'm back for more. Replacing just the encasements is going to be much easier and cheaper.

Jason - 2/24/10 15:55 pm Used this for about 6 months. Not only did the plastic have tears similar to the other descriptions, but worse yet, the vinyl does not allow the mattress to breathe. After 6 months when cleaning the cover for our tempurpedic mattress, we found a TON of black mold on the bottom. After talking to people, they said the vinyl doesn't breathe, and if it doesn't breathe, you will get mold and mildew. Well, we do! So, unless you want to buy a new mattress (another unexpected lump of $$$), do not use this! Ever!

Doug - 1/17/10 19:29 pm I ordered two of these almost two years ago and when I went to put the first one on my boxspring I discovered the seam was broke open on one end. I returned it and they sent me a new one free of charge.

After getting both of these covers on my bed I discovered the one they sent me had a broken seam as well. I was too tired to take it off and return it again. Besides, these things are hard to get on your bed. Now I have discovered that the other cover is coming apart at the seams.

I will never buy from this place again. If you read this please be wary - the quality of these products is very poor.

VR - 9/26/09 17:03 pm I ordered this from National Allergy Supply. The zipper splits into two, and is malfunctioning. They did not perform careful quality control. I am returning the item for a refund.
