The DirtTamer Ultima uses a patented 3-stage filtration system
that separates debris for maximum suction:
- Stage 1: Large particles are separated from liquids and air.
- Stage 2: Liquids are separated from air.
- Stage 3: Small particles are filtered out by the foam filter and final HEPA filter

- easy-to-empty 9-oz. bowl

The one drawback is that when it was finally necessary to replace the rechargeable battery, it required replacing the unit, but the manufacturer did so at a significant cost discount for the new unit.

Florence - 3/27/10 14:20 pm I change the hepa filter on my Dust Tamer filter yearly. This is the only way to use a lambs wool duster! Instead of having the dust fall off and make a mess, or have to go outside to shake it, this little vacuum holds all the dust and it comes out like a square gray pad of dust. It's the only way to clean ceiling fan blades, chandeliers, and cabinet tops.
