It is a high efficiency, electrostatic filter that outperforms all other fiberglass, non-electrostatic pleated, and washable 1” filters except other 3M Filtrete filters. Filtrete filters will not support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use. The Micro Allergen Reduction filter lasts up to 3 months and comes in a red package.
