Acarosan Dust Mite Powder & Dust Mite Control Spray

Product Notes:

• We recommend using the moist powder for carpets (covers 120 sq. ft.) and the spray for upholstered furniture and throw pillows (covers 100 sq. ft.).
• EPA registered, Acarosan is safe for both humans and pets utilizing Benzyl Benzoate (5%) as its active ingredient. Benzyl Benzoate, by the way, is on the FDA's approved list for use in food products as a flavoring agent.
• Most physicians recommend treating areas where dust mite concentrations are highest such as near beds and regularly used furniture.
• Microfiltration vacuum bags or HEPA vacuum cleaners are recommended.
• Although both formulas are water-based with no added fragrance, Acarosan does have a mild odor. It is recommended that persons with asthma or severe allergies have someone else apply and vacuum up the product and should remain out of treated rooms for 3 hours after vacuuming.
• Use only on colorfast carpets.
• The 24-oz. Acarosan Dust Mite Spray is equally effective in treating furniture and throw pillows to eliminate dust mites. Vacuum surface first, then simply spray on Acarosan evenly, allow to dry, and vacuum again. Lasts for 2 weeks.
• Published medical studies (W. Kersten et al; Bethanien Hospital, Moers, West Germany; "A Clinical Study On The Effectivenes Of Acarosan In Treating House-Dust Mite Allergy"; Allergologie, 1988.) prove that Acarosan carpet treatment eliminates dust mites in carpeting – one of the major reservoirs of dust mites and their allergens in your home.

Just one treatment with Acarosan moist powder will kill mites and keeps them away for up to 4 weeks. It’s easy to use – just sprinkle it on your carpet, spread it evenly with an application rake or clean broom, wait until it dries and vacuum it up.
