Additional Info

Hydro Pulse Product Notes:

  • The Hydro Pulse was developed by a board-certified ENT specialist and is the first pulsatile irrigation system to be FDA registered.
  • "Pulsatile irrigation" means that the pulsation rate matches the normal rate of the healthy nasal cilia.
  • And because it’s designed specifically and only for sinus and nasal irrigation, it may be reimbursable by your insurance!
  • The tips for the Hydro Pulse System are NOT designed to fit oral hygiene devices like the WaterPik or Interplak units.

Here's What One Satisfied Customer Told Us:

“My sister was recently referred to your company by her doctor where she purchased the Hydro Pulse irrigator for her and myself. I have to tell you this thing has given me my life back. I have tried other products - but this item is so much easier and effective. Thanks again for the quick shipping and great phone support.”

  •   Craig - 3/16/14 19:14 pm This is an excellent product that does what it says. If only everyone knew the benefits of nasal irrigation for warding off colds and allergies! Since using this irrigation method, plus allergy shots, I've not had sinus infections in over 5 years! I used to have one in October and one in March every year... and all of the bad antibiotics that went along with it. But never more!

  •   Joe - 12/10/13 20:57 pm This is my second Hydro Pulse. It does a great job of flushing the sinuses; far better than a neti pot. I wish the reservoir tank was larger, but it's only a minor inconvenience to mix a second tank of solution. Whether I'm treating a sinus infection or just battling dry air, this machine does a great job.

  •   Alexandra - 7/7/13 21:42 pm Easy to use product has stood up to twice-daily use for several years. It is an invaluable tool for treating my severe allergic asthma.

  •   Daniel - 1/3/12 19:16 pm I have recommended this product to patients as a superior alternative to Neti Pot and to less expensive alternatives. We've had one at home for about five years and it finally died. My wife tried ordering another brand, and that one broke within 30 days, so we're back to the Grossan Unit.

  •   Ralph - 12/10/11 14:38 pm I am a long time sinus sufferer and had 2 surgeries. Irrigation is my primary and preferred treatment. This is my 2nd Hydro Pulse and I burned through multipe Water Piks. Nothing lasts long with hypertonic saline. I like the Hydro Pulse and [$]/year for treatment is very cheap indeed.

  •   Rebecca - 9/25/10 12:21 pm I have had my unit over 3 years. I love it so much better than hand irrigation. You stop a beginning sinus infection or get rid of one by rinsing twice a day for about 10 to 14 days. There was actually a medical metastudy that showed antibiotics and salt water irrigation worked equally well. I also like the dental irrigation tips. I have a couple of molars where food tends pack and flossing is not sufficient. It cleans out food stuff between teeth and you can massage your gums.

  •   Mark - 5/31/10 12:47 pm This machine is average at best. I had a Waterpik with a SinuPulse attachment before this and I actually liked it better. The reason being is that the Hydro Pulse is only a 16oz rinse and the Waterpik held 32oz. Also, the Hydro Pulse is double the price of a Waterpik with no better features in the machine.

  •   Robert - 2/15/10 21:21 pm I have used the Hydro Pulse Nasal Irrigation System for more than 3 years and have found it to be dependable, durable and easy to use and maintain. I don't think there is any better nasal irrigation product on the market.

  •   Richard - 1/12/10 1:40 am The day this device hit the warehouse shelf at NAS my order was soon on its way. It has worked flawlessly ever since I received. How many years ago was that, I don't have a clue. I use the device from a few times a month up to everyday, twice daily. Gone are the days of buying Waterpiks every other month. This medical device has allowed me to live a normal life, I can now work in the garden, cut the grass spread the mulch and survive short periods of being around cigarette smoke, and dogs. You may ask how my unit could have lasted all these many years with practically daily use. You may also ask how is it that my unit is never rinsed free of salt water. The answer is simple, it's the water, it makes all the difference. I use R/O water that is sterilized, and deionized. You can find this type of water at your local health food store, and it does not take a lot of water for irrigation. When I turn off the device I also pour a small of amount of hydrogen peroxide into the reservoir, like a teaspoon. This small amount is effective because the water that went into the reservoir was clean, certainly unlike tap water. I never use table salt; it is just far too harsh, making for a most unpleasant experience. I have used dry saline powders like Ayr, Walgreens and others, these are fine if you are in a pinch but for me I don't like the burn. I have found Breathe-ease brand buffered saline power to be gentile and refreshing. One last note if you include irrigation as a normal part of your normal hygiene you will wonder why everyone does not use it. I do not go anywhere without this unit, I can't because I can not afford to pay for antibiotics any more. If you must use tap water you should boil it fist and then let it cool to room temperature, well that is my opinion. I suffered from sinusitis for many years, I have had multiple surgeries and I can pronounce Otolaryngology. Don't go far that you too learn how to pronounce Otolaryngology. I would like to think National Allergy Supply; they have been a good partner, in my process of healing. I am happy to say I am no longer disabled by it; I was sick for over ten years.

  •   Marilyn - 1/3/10 19:11 pm While none of these machines lasts more than a couple of years (due to salt water, I guess-even tho I clean regularly) the Hydro Pulse (or Grossan) is far superior to the SinuPulse. Works so much better and I've tried both.
