•   Mark - 5/31/10 12:47 pm This machine is average at best. I had a Waterpik with a SinuPulse attachment before this and I actually liked it better. The reason being is that the Hydro Pulse is only a 16oz rinse and the Waterpik held 32oz. Also, the Hydro Pulse is double the price of a Waterpik with no better features in the machine.

•   Richard - 1/12/10 1:40 am The day this device hit the warehouse shelf at NAS my order was soon on its way. It has worked flawlessly ever since I received. How many years ago was that, I don't have a clue. I use the device from a few times a month up to everyday, twice daily. Gone are the days of buying Waterpiks every other month. This medical device has allowed me to live a normal life, I can now work in the garden, cut the grass spread the mulch and survive short periods of being around cigarette smoke, and dogs. You may ask how my unit could have lasted all these many years with practically daily use. You may also ask how is it that my unit is never rinsed free of salt water. The answer is simple, it's the water, it makes all the difference. I use R/O water that is sterilized, and deionized. You can find this type of water at your local health food store, and it does not take a lot of water for irrigation. When I turn off the device I also pour a small of amount of hydrogen peroxide into the reservoir, like a teaspoon. This small amount is effective because the water that went into the reservoir was clean, certainly unlike tap water. I never use table salt; it is just far too harsh, making for a most unpleasant experience. I have used dry saline powders like Ayr, Walgreens and others, these are fine if you are in a pinch but for me I don't like the burn. I have found Breathe-ease brand buffered saline power to be gentile and refreshing. One last note if you include irrigation as a normal part of your normal hygiene you will wonder why everyone does not use it. I do not go anywhere without this unit, I can't because I can not afford to pay for antibiotics any more. If you must use tap water you should boil it fist and then let it cool to room temperature, well that is my opinion. I suffered from sinusitis for many years, I have had multiple surgeries and I can pronounce Otolaryngology. Don't go far that you too learn how to pronounce Otolaryngology. I would like to think National Allergy Supply; they have been a good partner, in my process of healing. I am happy to say I am no longer disabled by it; I was sick for over ten years.

•   Marilyn - 1/3/10 19:11 pm While none of these machines lasts more than a couple of years (due to salt water, I guess-even tho I clean regularly) the Hydro Pulse (or Grossan) is far superior to the SinuPulse. Works so much better and I've tried both.
