•   Sal - 4/13/13 0:28 am I have suffered from allergies all my life, and dwelt with asthma and I'm a Valley Fever survivor.
  This is by far the best air purifier I have purchased. Over the years, I purchased air purifiers of various brands, one for each room in our home.
  I keep this in our master bedroom, on the low setting. You can smell the freshness.
  The blower cools the room temperature plus provides a quiet white noise for sleeping.
  When the purifier starts sounding loud, I know it is time to change the carbon filter.

•   Steve - 8/7/11 20:11 pm Strong air recirculation, but too loud, too big and not attractive enough for my preferences. I had to keep it on the lowest setting and in the next room. I'm returning it, so I can purchase a Rabbit Air purifier.

•   Dar - 6/9/11 18:24 pm I live in Atlanta with a terrible dust mite allergy. My husband and I bought two for this home and a third for another home in Colorado. This allows me to LIVE. It's great, and you can tell a difference immediately. This is an excellent product. Great!

•   HVZ - 4/10/11 21:22 pm GREAT cleaner for the money; very quiet on low. If you have another [$] to spend, though, consider the model that also has Turbo speed, great to use while dusting and stirring up the air, and a comfortable carry handle if you need to move it from room to room.

•   Joyce - 10/3/10 20:27 pm I recently purchased this to replace the smaller Whirlpool Whispure I've used in the master bdrm over 7 years. I use the 2nd setting when it's time to sleep & run it high during the day 24x7x365. I replace the hepa annually & carbon filters bimonthly. Highly recommend.

•   Catalina - 10/1/10 9:58 am It's an excellent product. It is a little noisy for my taste, but the benefits are worth it. Unless I am watching t.v., the noise doesn't affect me much. It is fast at eliminating unwanted perfume/cologne scents... that is how I found out how fast it is at doing it's job.

•   Holly - 7/29/10 9:02 am While it's a bit noisy when the fan is on high, it's a nice quiet hum on low which is what I set it on at night. I have a cat (I know, I know, a really dumb thing since I am allergic to him) and it seems to be making a difference. For the first time in ages, I am waking up without a headache! I compared prices and National Allergy Supply was by far the best price around (and I didn't have to use my gas or my time to go get it!).

•   mem - 5/11/10 14:16 pm Like other reviewers, I bought this filter based on Consumer Reports' recommendation and have been quite satisfied with it. It is much quieter than other brands of filters (I've had several!) and much more effective at combating my allergies. It works much better on pollen and pet allergens than on dust mites, though. Also, the pre-filters don't last as long as they are supposed to and you really need to start checking them about a month after you replace them.

•   Crystal - 3/5/10 13:49 pm I bought this air filter 3 years ago after it was recommended by consumer reports. It was actually the only air filter still made that was recommended. We have dogs and cats and live in Arizona where it is very dry and dusty, and the amount of dust and hair that this thing sucks up is amazing. And disgusting, but in a good way. The difference is definitely noticeable. I even take it with us to my father's house (he smokes) when we go for a visit and it helps alot with the smell. Of course, no air filter will ever be able to completely eliminate smoke, but I was able to sleep much better. I have been looking for the last couple years for more of these air filters to put in other rooms, but it seems they had stopped manufacturing them for a while. Used ones were selling on Ebay for three times what it cost brand new! I am ecstatic to see them again, and I plan to buy at least two more for other rooms. As far as noise goes, on low it's hardly noticeable, but I always keep it on high. It's more of a "white noise" sound and to us is not a distraction at all. I recommend these to all my family and friends!
