The Filtrete Ultra Allergen Reduction filter captures 90% of large allergens like mold spores and pet dander from the air passing through the filter. It is the most efficient Filtrete filter at capturing bacteria and particles that can carry viruses. 3M has given this MERV 11 filter a Performance Rating of 1250.

The Filtrete Ultra Allergen Reduction filter is up to 30 times more effective than ordinary fiberglass filters. Compared to the Filtrete Micro Allergen Reduction filter, the Ultra Allergen Reduction filter has 15% better airflow.

Filtrete filters will not support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use. The Filtrete Ultra Allergen Reduction filter lasts up to 3 months and comes in a purple package.
