Customers have been asking for a non-irritating and unscented hairspray. And if you have sensitive skin, your scalp is often extra sensitive to chemicals. Like other Free & Clear products, the Free and Clear hairspray is distinguished by what it does NOT contain. You won't find many of the common irritants like fragrance or masking fragrance, parabens or formaldehyde that other hair sprays contain. The product does contain alcohol, an essential ingredient which allows the product to dry rather than leave your hair flat and wet.

Ingredients for Soft Hold Formula:

SD alcohol 40-B, purified water, acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymer, dimethicone copolyol, polyurethane-1, aminomethyl propanol, phytantriol, and citric acid

SD alcohol 40-B, purified water, acrylates copolymer, aminomethyl propanol, dimethicone copolyol,acrylates/octylacrylamide copolymer, phytantriol, and citric acid

It's not extra hold so my hair still moves in the wind, and I do have to reapply sometimes, but overall it works great - similar to the drugstore one I used to use before I had to go all fragrance-free due to allergic contact dermatitis.
