This spacer is very easy to use. Since I have started using it, I feel that my breathing has improved. My only word of caution is that the inner "sleeve" sometimes falls out. I dropped it on the train one day and had a time until I found it. So be careful when removing the blue end cap. Other than that, I have had no trouble with it and I am extremely pleased.
