These lightweight, disposable particulate respirator masks keep out allergens including pollens, dander, mite allergen and mold spores. The filter media is electrostatically charged to help make breathing easier and cooler.  The 3M 9210 Particulate Respirator N95 captures 95% of particles at .3 microns. This mask is effective at reducing your risk of contracting airborne viruses like the flu and meets NIOSH N95* requirements.

*NIOSH N95 rating signifies that the mask filters at least 95% of airborne particles as small as .3 microns.

Particulate Respirator Product Notes:

• This mask meets the NIOSH N95 standard.
• For added comfort, each individually packaged mask includes a padded nose clip and soft interior fabric.
• The 3M 9210 masks also fold flat for easy storage in pocket or purse when not in use.

•   Karen Anne - 9/18/11 19:44 pm I could only wear this for 15 minutes, because it felt like it was really restricting my breathing. Perhaps that is common for masks, I don't know, as this was the first one I've tried. So it was hard to tell if it did any good.
  
  Somewhat contradictorily, there was an air gap on each side of my nose which I could not close. The box has a photo (but no written directions) of someone pressing that area down onto the face, but the mask is too stiff to stay close to the face there even if you do that.
  
  Next time I will try a mask molded to the face shape and with a respirator valve.
