Carbon is great for odor and organic vapor filtration. This nuisance level 3M carbon mask is perfect for use when painting, woodworking, or working with household cleaning solvents. The 3M carbon mask carries the NIOSH R95* rating and is designed to help provide reliable protection against certain oil and non-oil based particles including those present with nuisance levels of organic vapors such as solvents, degreasers, and resins.

*NIOSH's R95 rating encompasses the N95 rating and the R signifies that is oil resistant, providing additional protection againt oil-based aerosol particles.

  •   Stacey - 12/4/11 18:40 pm Although I have tried to clean with green cleaners,once in a while I resort to using bleach. Living in humid Florida,mold is a year around problem. This mask does an excellent job of allowing me to clean with bleach and not having to smell the fumes. As a result,I walk away finished with no headache or "burned" sinuses and a mold free bathroom. Great mask!
