The zippered BedCare Ultra anti dust mite pillow cover is made from a generous amount of all-natural cotton yarn combined with polyester and made to be especially for us. This barrier fabric is so tightly woven that allergens can't pass through and has a mean pore size of 4.6 microns. Zipping your pillow into this encasement provides total protection on all sides with no gaps or openings. And because we don't use any plastics to make it allergen-proof, air and moisture transmit readily through the fabric leaving you cool and comfortable all night long. While most sewing manufacturers are going "off shore", all of our fabric dust mite protector encasings are made in a National Allergy-owned sewing plant in North Georgia. Each and every dust mite pillow cover is hand inspected to maintain top quality. Product Notes:

• The BedCare Ultra dust mite pillow cover has premium, rust-proof zippers, and reinforced seams. The BedCare Ultra dust mite pillow cover can only trap bed bugs that are hiding on your pillow.
• BedCare Ultra encasings can be used for bed bug protection. You should also encase your mattress and box springs to complete your bedding protection for both bed bugs and allergens. However, these covers will not protect you from other bed bugs hiding in your bedroom. For complete elimination of bed bugs from your bedroom and your home, you will need to contact a pest extermination specialist who understands how to rid your home of bed bugs.

Close the zipper and machine wash the encasing every 10 to 14 days in HOT water (or consider using a special laundry product for allergy sufferers). Tumble dry at the LOWEST setting. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.

•   chris - 4/6/11 19:26 pm I have had bought others in the past thinking they were good. Ha. The store bought ones, quite frankly, suck. You may pay a little extra but the quality is awesome. You can actually sleep on the case alone. My five year old son was recently diagnosed with severe tree pollen and dust allergies. Doc suggested this site. He used to sleep sitting up. After less than three days, the boy was lying flat, no snoring. Most excellent product. I'm so happy with this company.

These cases are heavy duty - much thicker than the previously ordered ones, and quite large (can easily fit king size pillow). They seem much more durable than the original set...so I'll look forward to keeping them several decades to come! I highly recommend to anyone looking for relief from dust mite allergies.
