BedCare Classic dust mite and mold impermeable mattress covers are made of a lightweight polyester knit fabric joined to an ultra-thin, allergen-proof Comfortech polyurethane membrane making them water resistant as well. Because of this barrier membrane, these mattress encasings can not be measured in terms of mean pore size. The fabric stretches as you move for supreme comfort.

While most sewing manufacturers are going "off shore", all of our fabric encasings are made in a National Allergy-owned sewing plant in North Georgia. Each and every encasing is hand inspected to maintain top quality. Product Notes:

• BedCare Classic encasings are machine washable and have premium, rust-proof zippers, and reinforced seams.
• BedCare Classic encasings can be used for bed bug protection. Mattress covers can only trap bed bugs that are hiding on your mattress. You should also encase your box springs in a economical, zippered vinyl encasing to complete your bedding protection for both bed bugs and allergens. However, these covers will not protect you from other bed bugs hiding in your bedroom. For complete elimination of bed bugs from your bedroom and your home, you will need to contact a pest extermination specialist who understands how to rid your home of bed bugs.

• 12" deep encasings are available in certain sizes. Be sure to check the depth of your mattress before ordering.

Machine wash in hot water. Line dry or use air dry setting dryer. Using bleach or drying at high temperatures will diminish the water-resistant properties of this encasing and cause the Comfortech polyurethane membrane to separate from the outer fabric.

•   gina - 1/7/10 9:44 am I have these on all 3 of my children's mattress to help with their eczema due to dust mites. They have had "accidents" in bed and it has not leaked through. We also saw an improvement in their eczema.
