The BedCare Ultra dust mite mattress encasing is made from a generous amount of all-natural cotton yarn combined with polyester and made especially for us. This barrier fabric is so tightly woven that allergens can't pass through and has a mean pore size of 4.6 microns, making it a great bed bug encasement, too. Zipping your mattress into this encasement provides total protection on all sides with no gaps or openings. And because we don't use any plastics to make it allergen-proof, air and moisture transmit readily through the fabric leaving you cool and comfortable all night long. While most sewing manufacturers are going "off shore", our fabric dust mite mattress encasing is made in a National Allergy-owned sewing plant in North Georgia. Each and every dust mite mattress encasing and bed bug encasement is hand inspected to maintain top quality. Product Notes:

• The BedCare Ultra dust mite mattress encasing has premium, rust-proof zippers, and reinforced seams.
• BedCare Ultra encasings can be used for bed bug protection. Mattress covers can only trap bed bugs that are hiding on your mattress. You should also encase your box springs in an affordably-priced BedCare Economy encasing to complete your bedding protection for both bed bugs and allergens. However, these covers will not protect you from other bed bugs hiding in your bedroom. For complete elimination of bed bugs from your bedroom and your home, you will need to contact a pest extermination specialist who understands how to rid your home of bed bugs.
• 18" deep mattress encasings for queen & king sizes only. Be sure to check the depth of your mattress before ordering as most sizes are available in 9", 12", and 15" depths.
• Zipper Tape - Many doctors recommend putting tape on the zipper to be sure no allergens escape. This item can be ordered below.

Vacuum the entire surface of the encasing every 10 to14 days to capture any allergens that may have gotten on the surface. For best results, consider using an allergyproof vacuum or vacuum bag. Close the zipper and machine wash the encasing once or twice a year in HOT water (or consider using a special laundry product for allergy sufferers). Tumble dry at the LOWEST setting. Do not bleach, iron or dry clean.

Best Steps for Bed Bug Control:

You may already have bed bugs and are working to eliminate the infestation or you may be working to prevent a bed bug infestation. Either way, BedCare mattress and box spring encasings with the BugShield System should be part of your plan.

The BugShield Zipper-Lock locks the zipper tab in place so that it will NOT backtrack to leave small openings that bed bugs could get through. The BugShield Bug Blocker is an added measure that closes the last inch or so of the zipper from below to doubly ensure that bedbugs will not be able to get in or out of the encasing.

By covering your bedding with zippered bedbug-proof covers, you are protecting the investment you have made in your mattress and box spring because you will not need to dispose of them due to bed bugs.

All 6 of our BedCare encasing fabrics (Elegance, Ultra, Supreme, Classic, Basics, & DuraTEK) have been tested by an independent lab and the data show that bed bugs can not pass through these fabrics, can not bite through these fabrics, and eggs can not pass through these fabrics or zippers. Therefore bed bugs outside the encasing can not get through to your mattress and box spring to hide or lay eggs, and any bed bugs inside the encasing can not get out to re-infest your home.

NOTE: Zippered bedbug-proof covers cannot protect you from bed bugs hiding in other areas of your bedroom or home such as behind headboards or inside wall sockets. For complete elimination, you will need to contact a pest extermination specialist who understands how to rid your home of bed bugs.

This product is great to use. Mites are hard to see, so get yourself this Mite Proof Mattress Cover for your bed if you have mite allergies. Try it and you will not be sorry because I have tried it for at least one month. I love it and I will buy more products from National Allergy.

  Made in USA which is a must in my eyes.
  Also, with the fear of bed bugs - believe me they are so tightly woven you will never have any bed bugs.
  My sole purchase for purchasing this encasement was because of
  my daughters allergies - but this encasement along with the wonderful dust mite proof pillow cases just eases your mind.

My previous one was like sleeping on a sheet of plastic, it would crinkle and make some noise. This is very quiet and comfortable. I got a 12" deep queen casing for a little deeper mattress and the fit was perfect! I highly recommend!

•   Dan - 1/14/10 1:19 am We just found out our Daughter was allergic to dust mites. After doing research online this was the only one I found made right here in the good old USA. The shipping was right on time. The covers we bought were for a full size and for a twin size and i also bought pillow covers... the covers felt very soft and went on extremely easy. After only 2 nights my daughter has had the best sleep she has had in months... her nose is clearing up and the headaches she has had for 3 months are gone completely. I never expected such a dramatic improvement so fast. She has been on over 8 different meds for over 4 and a half months and nothing seemed to help her. Like I said, it has only been 2 nights and the improvement is unreal. I also will do the heater vent covers so I will post how that goes latter. All I can say is if you need this product try it. I believe you will not be disappointed. I do not think you are going to find better deal and I looked for weeks. You will find cheaper ones out there but they are imported and you will not be happy with how they feel. I have bought some and my wife made me take them back as she did not feel for the price they were going to last. She was very impressed with how these feel and the price is right and the quality of these covers seem to be excellent. My only draw back is I think the shipping should be a little less than what they charge. I don't think you should charge more than what it actually cost. I mean if you want to sell your product I should not be charged for you to stick it in a box... just my two cents on shipping.
