Knowing asthma triggers (things that spark an attack) can help you take the first step to a healthier you or a healthier child. The National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) developed Environmental Management of Pediatric Asthma: Guidelines for Health Care Providers that targeted several indoor environmental triggers of asthma including: indoor air pollution, dust mites, animal allergens, cockroach antigen, and mold. As they say, knowing is half the battle, but the other half is eliminating these base triggers from your environment.
