Wake up refreshed and allergy free after you've slept under our BedCare Allergen Barrier Comforter. This comforter offers an all-in-one solution to comfort, warmth and allergy protection. The comforter's exterior cover is made from our exclusive BedCare Elegance fabric – a tightly woven 100% polyester microfiber with an ultra-tiny, 2.1-micron pore size that completely blocks the dust mite and pet allergens that trigger nighttime allergies, including cat dander. And when you wake up, you can confidently fluff this comforter without the worry of allergens escaping.
BedCare Allergen Barrier Comforters also feature a silk-like softness and breathability that customers love. The fabric's antimicrobial treatment inhibits odors and staining, plus harmful germ, bacteria and mold growth. Hypoallergenic fiberfill provides the equivalent warmth of down without the feathers, and won't clump when washed. A sewn-through 10" box design adds a touch of European flair, and a 6" all-around border makes this comforter as attractive as it is functional. Available in Twin, Full/Queen, King and California King sizes in White, Ivory or Navy. Lifetime Warranty.

Care Instructions – BedCare Allergen Barrier Comforters
Fluffy..!! Feeling better than before after using this product. (Posted on 3/21/15)
Though the item says "spot clean," I followed the laundering
instructions on the National Allergy website regarding this item:
Wash separately in front‐loading, commercial‐grade washer and dryer.
Wash and rinse in hot water.
Tumble dry on medium to low heat. Note that drying on Hot setting
voids warranty. Avoid excessive heat in dryer. Fluff every 10-15
minutes. Remove immediately from dryer when tumbling stops, or dry in
a "cool-down" or permanent press cycle.
Do not bleach, dry clean, iron, steam or use fabric softeners. Keep
comforter away from any source of heat.
Luckily, I have a front-loading washer. HOWEVER, when I tried to wash
comforter, it caused my washer to overflow! Everything in my laundry
room is soaking wet. Part of the comforter ripped.
I am REALLY disappointed with this product. I have bought many items
from National Allergy over the years after seeing an advertisement for
their company at my local allergist's office and I have never been
more dissatisfied (though the terrible experience with the laughable
Mulberry West Premium Luxury Silk-Filled Polished Cotton Blanket and
Comforter does come VERY close).
My husband likened the feel of the comforter to "a sleeping bag." I
would call it (understatement here) sateen. I bought it because I have
severe allergies and I was impressed that it was made by the same
manufacturer as my allergy mattress covers.
If you buy this, do not follow the instructions on National Allergy's website! (Posted on 10/23/14)
