AIRCARE MA1201 Evaporative Humidifier
This product provides relief from: Sinus Trouble
The AIRCARE® MA1201 Large Home Evaporative Humidifier with multi-speed controls and a unique wick design produces an amazing 12 gallons of daily output. This unit is on casters so you can move it where you need it in you home. MA1201 puts a clean, cool mist of moisture back into the air providing reiief during the dry months that irritate your skin, sinuses and allergies.
MA1201 uses evaportive humidification to add invisible moisture into your home by moving dry inlet air through a saturated wick. Dry air is drawn into the sides of the MA1201 and is moisturized as it passes through the wick. The water evaporates and humidified air is then released through top of the unit while the wick traps any minerals, dissolved and suspended solids, eliminating the white dust they create.
The AIRCARE® MA1201 Large Home Evaporative Humidifier is engineered to humidify a large home with a coverage area up to 3,6000 sq. ft. The easy-fill bottle and tank hold up to 3.6 gallons of water and allow the unit to run for up to 36 continuous hours. Choose from 4 fan speed settings. The higher the setting, the faster water is evaporated and released into the air.
The AIRCARE MA1201 is simple to operate with a digital control panel. Set the humidity to suit your needs with the adjustable humidistat. Humidity setting has a range of 25% to 65% relative humidity (RH), and can be adjusted in increments of 5%. The digital readout displays both actual room and desired humidity percentage settings when humidity control button is pressed. The MA1201 will automatically cycle on and off as required to maintain the selected setting. The humidistat that senses the readings is located on the power cord. And if you would like for the unit to run without adjusting automatically, set it to 65% RH and the humidifier will run continuously regardless of the room reading.
The AIRCARE MA1201 is an efficient high quality evaporative humidifier that is easy to use and requires minimal maintenance, and makes the benefits of whole house humidification achievable.

A few things to remember:
- Clean your humidifier regularly
- Change your wick at least once per season
- You may choose to use Essick Air Humidifier Bacteriostatic Treatment to reduce mold and mildew buildup
For effective humidification, it is important to position the unit where the most humidity is needed or where the moist air will be circulated throughout the house such as near a cold air return. The humidifier should be placed at least FOUR inches away from any curtains or walls, and away from heat registers. Do not place on soft carpet. Due to release of cool, moist air from the humidifier, it is best to direct air away from thermostat and hot air registers.
As the evaporative wick traps accumulated minerals from the water, its ability to absorb and evaporate water decreases. Changing the wick at the beginning of every season is recommended. In hard water areas, more frequent replacement may be necessary to maintain your humidifier?s efficiency.
Personal comfort is a major factor in determining where to set your humidity level for your home. The point at which you set your humidity level should not not cause condensation on walls or windows.
